Manu Rishi Chadha was born on January 3, 1971, in New Delhi, India. He pursued his passion for acting early on, participating in school and college plays, which led him to quit college and dedicate himself to theatre for about ten years. In 1999, he moved to Mumbai to further his acting career but faced challenges in breaking into the industry. Eventually, he shifted his focus to writing and gained significant recognition for his work on the film "Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!" which earned him several awards, including Filmfare and IIFA awards for Best Dialogue. Manu Rishi is married to Roli Chaturvedi since May 2, 2013, and they have two children together: a son named Kabir and a daughter named Mansha.
