Mandira Bedi, born on April 15, 1972, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, is an Indian actress, fashion designer, and television presenter. She is the daughter of Verinder Singh and Gita Bedi. Mandira completed her schooling at Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai and graduated from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. She further pursued her post-graduation from Sophia Polytechnic College, Mumbai. On February 14, 1999, she married film director Raj Kaushal. The couple had a son named Vir on June 19, 2011, and adopted a daughter, Tara Bedi Kaushal, in July 2020. Tragically, Raj Kaushal passed away on June 30, 2021, due to a cardiac arrest.
