Keerthi Reddy, born on November 17, 1978, in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, is an Indian former actress known for her work primarily in Telugu and Tamil cinema, as well as some Hindi and Kannada films. She is the daughter of a dress designer and an interior designer, and her grandfather was Keshpally Ganga Reddy, a former Member of Parliament. Keerthi was educated at Jiddu Krishnamurthy's The Valley School in Bengaluru and later attended Ryerson University in Toronto for higher studies. She trained in Bharatanatyam for eight years and made her film debut in 1996 with the Telugu film "Gunshot." Her breakthrough came with the 1998 blockbuster "Tholi Prema," opposite Pawan Kalyan. In addition to her successful Telugu career, she made her Bollywood debut in "Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa" (2000) and starred in "Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat" (2001). Keerthi received critical acclaim for her role in the 2004 film "Arjun," winning a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. After a successful career, she stepped back from acting and currently resides in Singapore with her second husband and two children.
