Jayaram Subramaniam, born on December 10, 1965, in Perumbavoor, Kerala, is a prominent Indian actor celebrated for his contributions to Malayalam cinema and other regional film industries. He is married to Parvathy Jayaram, and together they have two children: Kalidas Jayaram and Malavika Jayaram. Jayaram's height is approximately 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 meters). He comes from a Tamil Iyyer family; his father Subramaniyam Iyer is from Tamil Nadu, while his mother Thankam hails from Thanjavur.
Jayaram began his career as a mimicry artist before transitioning to acting in films. His debut came in the 1988 film "Aparan," directed by Padmarajan, which established him as a leading actor in the industry. Over the years, he has acted in more than 200 films across Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages, earning critical acclaim and several awards including the Padma Shri in 2011 for his artistic contributions.
