Syed Jaaved Ahmed Jaffrey, born on December 4, 1962, in Bombay (now Mumbai), India, is a prominent Indian actor, dancer, and comedian. He is the son of the renowned comedian Jagdeep and has made a significant mark in the Indian entertainment industry through his versatile performances in films and television. Jaffrey initially gained fame with his role in the film "Meri Jung" (1985), where he showcased his dancing skills and comedic talent. He has hosted numerous television shows, including "Videocon Flashback" and "Timex Timepass," which were popular during the 1990s. In addition to acting, he has lent his voice to various animated characters and has been involved in commentary for shows like "Takeshi's Castle." Jaffrey is married to Habiba Jaffrey and has three children: two sons, Mizaan and Abbas, and a daughter, Alaviaa. He was previously married to Pakistani actress Zeba Bakhtiar from 1989 to 1990. Jaffrey is also politically active; he joined the Aam Aadmi Party in 2014 and contested in the general elections.
