Jaspal Bhatti

Jaspal Singh Bhatti was born on March 3, 1955, in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He emerged as a prominent Indian television personality, actor, director, and producer, widely recognized for his satirical commentary on social issues affecting the common man. Bhatti graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh. He married Savita Bhatti on March 24, 1985, and they had two children: a son, Jasraj Bhatti, and a daughter, Raabiya Bhatti. Bhatti was known for his comedic genius and was often referred to as the "King of Comedy" and the "King of Satire." His career took off in the late 1980s with the television series "Flop Show," which humorously addressed bureaucratic absurdities and societal issues. He passed away on October 25, 2012, in a tragic road accident.
