​Jake Ryan, born on September 2, 1983, in Melbourne, Australia, is a distinguished actor known for his versatile roles in film and television. Before pursuing acting, Jake had a prolific career in Taekwondo, earning his black belt at the age of nine, making him the youngest Australian to do so. He was a member of the Australian national Taekwondo team for eight years and achieved a top-five international ranking. However, a knee injury prior to the 2008 Beijing Olympics led him to shift his focus to acting. Jake has been in a relationship with DJ Alice Quiddington since early 2019, and the couple has two children: a son born on October 6, 2019, and a daughter born on December 23, 2023.
