P. V. Jagadish Kumar, born on June 12, 1955, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, is a renowned Indian actor, screenwriter, and television presenter. He holds a Master's degree in Commerce from Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, where he graduated with first rank. Before entering the film industry, Jagadish worked as a lecturer in various colleges. He is known for his versatility in comic and character roles in Malayalam cinema. In 2016, he ventured into politics, contesting for the Pathanapuram constituency under the Indian National Congress banner.

In his personal life, Jagadish was married to Dr. P. Rema, a forensic professor at the Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram, until her passing on April 1, 2022. The couple has two daughters, both of whom are doctors and married. They reside in Kaladi, Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram.
