Jack Gaud, born Jagdeep Singh, was an Indian actor renowned for his roles as a henchman and villain in Bollywood films. Born on November 6, 1958, in Punjab, India, Gaud began his career in the entertainment industry in the late 1980s. He initially served in the Indian Navy before transitioning to acting, bringing a disciplined approach to his craft.
Gaud's imposing physique and intense screen presence made him a perfect fit for negative roles, earning him a niche in the industry. He gained recognition with his performance as the loyal henchman of Mogambo in the 1987 blockbuster "Mr. India." This role catapulted him to fame, and he became a familiar face in Bollywood action films throughout the 1990s.
Despite being typecast as a villain, Gaud’s versatility was evident in his ability to add depth and nuance to his characters. His memorable performances include roles in films such as "Baazigar" (1993), "Karan Arjun" (1995), and "Raja Hindustani" (1996).
