Ishita Sharma is an Indian actress, kathak dancer, entrepreneur, and social activist, born on January 8, 1988, in Mumbai, India. She began her career in the performing arts at a young age, participating in theater and children's television shows like Shaka Laka Boom Boom. Ishita made her film debut in 2007 with the English film Loins of Punjab Presents, followed by roles in Hindi films such as Dil Dosti Etc and Dulha Mil Gaya. She gained popularity on television for her role as Anjalika Solanki in the series Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and co-hosted Dance India Dance (season 4). In addition to her acting career, Ishita holds a Master's degree in human development and established Aamad, a school for performing arts, in 2014. She is also the founder of MukkaMaar, an initiative aimed at empowering underprivileged girls through self-defense training. Ishita is currently unmarried.
