Heera Rajagopal

Heera Rajagopal was born on December 29, 1971, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She is a former Indian actress known for her work in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi films. Heera grew up in a military family, which led her to attend various schools across India. She pursued a degree in psychology at Women's Christian College in Chennai. Initially hesitant about a film career, she was approached for modeling during her college years and eventually accepted her first film role in the Tamil movie "Idhayam" (1991) after being convinced by producer T. G. Thyagarajan. Heera gained recognition for her performances in films like "Thiruda Thiruda" (1993) and "Kadhal Kottai" (1996). She married Pushkar Madhav, and after a successful career spanning nearly a decade, she decided to leave the film industry in 1999, citing a desire to avoid roles that did not align with her intellectual sensibilities.
