The son of veteran actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, Harshvardhan comes from a family deeply rooted in the film industry. He is the younger brother of actress Sonam Kapoor and producer Rhea Kapoor. Harshvardhan made his acting debut with the film "Mirzya" in 2016, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Although the film did not perform well at the box office, his performance was appreciated, earning him the Best Male Debut award at the Star Screen Awards.
