Gracy Singh was born on July 20, 1980, in Delhi, India, into a traditional Sikh family. She developed a passion for acting and dance during her school years at Manav Sthali School, where she began taking Bharat Natyam lessons. After completing her education, she joined a dance troupe called "Planets" and started performing on stage while pursuing her graduation in Arts. Gracy's career took off in 1997 when she landed a role in the television serial "Amanat." Her breakthrough came in 2001 with the Oscar-nominated film "Lagaan," where she played Gauri opposite Aamir Khan, earning critical acclaim for her performance. Following this success, she starred in several hit films such as "Munna Bhai M.B.B.S." (2003) and "Gangajaal" (2003). Gracy has also worked in regional films and has been involved in theater, notably performing in the dance drama "Radhika" in 2006. She formed her own dance troupe in 2009 to promote Indian culture through performances. Gracy is currently associated with the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University since 2013. As of now, she remains unmarried and has not publicly disclosed any information about her romantic relationships.
