Girish Kumar Taurani is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films. Born on January 30, 1989, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Kumar made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with the romantic comedy film Ramaiya Vastavaiya, opposite Shruti Haasan.

Girish Kumar spent his childhood in Mumbai and attended Wellington College in England for his schooling. From a young age, he was passionate about acting and dancing. Before making his film debut, Kumar underwent a strict regimen of training and diet for three years to build the physique required for the role. He also learned surfing for the film.

Kumar is married to Krsna Mangwani since February 11, 2015. The couple has a daughter named Aaria Taurani. He is an avid animal lover and has a pet dog named Max Taurani and a cat named Dewey. Kumar regularly works out at the gym to maintain his fitness and is a religious person with a deep faith in God.
