Genelia Deshmukh was born on August 5, 1987, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is married to Riteish Deshmukh, and the couple has two children. 

Genelia Deshmukh is a prominent Indian actress and model known for her work in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. She gained fame at a young age after appearing in a Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan. Her acting career began with the Hindi film "Tujhe Meri Kasam" in 2003, which marked her debut alongside Riteish Deshmukh. Genelia quickly became a leading actress in the South Indian film industry, earning accolades for her performances in films like "Bommarillu," which won her a Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu. 

Throughout her career, she has starred in several successful films, including "Masti," "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na," and "Force." After a brief hiatus following her marriage in 2012, she made a successful comeback with the Marathi film "Ved" in 2022, which became a box office hit. Genelia is also a producer and co-founded the Mumbai Film Company with her husband. Her philanthropic efforts include supporting organizations that rehabilitate homeless women.
