Geethu Mohandas, born on June 8, 1981, is an Indian former actress and acclaimed director known for her works in Malayalam cinema. She is married to cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, and the couple has a daughter named Aradhana.

Geethu Mohandas, whose real name is Gayatri Das, started her acting career as a child artist in the 1986 Malayalam film "Onnu Muthal Poojyam Vare" alongside Mohanlal. She went on to act in several other Malayalam movies, including "Life is Beautiful," "Thenkasi Pattanam," "Valkannadi," and "Nammal Thammil". The high point of her acting career was her performance in the 2004 film "Akale," for which she won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam.

In 2009, Geethu Mohandas formed her film production house, Unplugged, and made her directorial debut with the short fiction film "Kelkkunnundo (Are You Listening?)". The film won several international awards and the National Film Award in India. Her first feature film, "Liar's Dice," premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014, won six major international awards and two National Film Awards in India, and was India's official entry for the Best Foreign Film category at the 87th Academy Awards. Her second feature film, "Moothon," premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2019 and was the opening film at MAMI 2019.
