Ganesh Acharya was born on June 14, 1971, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He hails from a Tamil family and is the son of Krishna Gopi, a dancer and choreographer. Tragically, his father passed away when Ganesh was just 11 years old, which led to financial difficulties for the family. Despite these challenges, he pursued his passion for dance, moving to Cuttack, Odisha, to learn from his sister. Ganesh is married to Vidhi Acharya.
