Gajendra Chouhan was born on October 10, 1956, in Delhi, India. He completed his schooling at Ramjas Sr. Sec. School No.-2 in Delhi and pursued a diploma in radiography from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Afterward, he moved to Mumbai to refine his acting skills at Roshan Taneja's acting school. Gajendra is best known for his portrayal of Yudhishthira in the iconic television series "Mahabharat," which aired from 1988 to 1990. He served as the chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) from June 2015 to October 2017. Gajendra is married to Habiba Rehman.
