Faruk Kabir, born on March 18, 1983, is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter recognized for his contributions to Hindi cinema. He began his career in the film industry at the age of 18 as an assistant director, working on notable films such as Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Asoka. Kabir's directorial journey commenced with the short film The Awakening in 2006, which highlighted critical issues related to water disasters. His feature film debut came with Allah Ke Banday, where he not only directed but also acted. This film explored themes of juvenile crime and garnered significant acclaim, earning him multiple award nominations.
