Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, born on August 6, 1986, in Pune, India, is a prominent Indian television actress known for her compelling performances in various Hindi serials. She graduated from the University of Mumbai and initially worked as a flight attendant for Jet Airways before transitioning to acting. Kakar gained fame for her role as Simar in the popular series "Sasural Simar Ka," which aired from 2011 to 2017. She also participated in the reality show "Bigg Boss 12," where she emerged as the winner in December 2018. Dipika was previously married to Raunak Samson in 2008 but divorced in 2015. She later married fellow actor Shoaib Ibrahim on February 22, 2018. Dipika converted to Islam and adopted the name Faiza after her marriage to Shoaib. As of now, she has announced her decision to step back from acting to focus on her life as a housewife and mother.
