Dipannita Sharma is an Indian actress and model, born on November 2, 1979, in Duliajan, Assam, India. She gained recognition as a finalist in the Miss India 1998 contest, where she also won the title of Miss Photogenic. Dipannita completed her schooling at Holy Child School in Guwahati and St. Mary's School in Naharkatia before graduating in History from Indraprastha College for Women in Delhi. She is married to Dilsher Singh Atwal, a businessman involved in the mining industry, since 2008. Dipannita's younger sister is Arunima Sharma, a well-known television actress.
