Dharmesh Yelande, widely recognized as Dharmesh Sir, was born on October 31, 1983, in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. He is a prominent Indian dancer, choreographer, and television personality known for his contemporary and hip-hop dance styles. Dharmesh's passion for dance began in childhood, inspired by figures like Prabhu Deva and Krishna Rao. He gained fame as a contestant on the reality show Dance India Dance (Season 2), where he finished as the first runner-up. His career took off after he was hired by Farah Khan to choreograph the film Tees Maar Khan in 2010. Dharmesh runs a dance academy called D'virus Dance Academy in Vadodara and has participated in several dance reality shows as both a contestant and a mentor. He has been in a long-term relationship with Reshma Khan, whom he met on the sets of Dance India Dance, and they have been together for over 15 years.
