Deepak Dobriyal, born on September 1, 1975, in Pauri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand, is a prominent Indian actor known for his work in both film and theatre. He hails from a family with roots in Kabra village, where he completed his schooling at Govt. Boys Senior Secondary School in Begumpur, Delhi. His father relocated to Delhi when Deepak was five years old in search of better opportunities. Deepak's passion for acting began early; he participated in Ramleela plays during his childhood. He began his professional acting career in 1994 under the guidance of renowned theatre director Arvind Gaur, performing in various acclaimed plays. Dobriyal gained significant recognition for his role as Rajju in the 2006 film "Omkara," and he is also well-known for portraying Pappi in the romantic comedies "Tanu Weds Manu" (2011) and its sequel "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" (2015). His versatility has allowed him to excel in a range of roles across genres. As of now, he is married to actress Kiran Dobriyal.
