Chum Darang was born on October 16, 1991, in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, India. She is currently unmarried and does not have a spouse. Chum has gained recognition as an Indian model, actress, social activist, and entrepreneur. She first rose to fame by winning the Miss Tiara India International 2017 title and has participated in various beauty pageants since 2010. Her journey began with the Miss AAPSU title, followed by notable achievements such as winning Miss Earth India Water 2016 and placing fifth in Miss Asia World 2017. Apart from her pageantry success, Chum made her film debut in 2022 with the comedy-drama "Badhaai Do," where she portrayed Rimjhim Jongkey, and she also appeared in "Gangubai Kathiawadi." In addition to acting, she runs a cafe named 'Cafe Chu' in her hometown and actively engages in social work, earning recognition for her contributions to marginalized communities.
