Chittaranjan Tripathy, born in 1971, is a prominent Indian actor, director, and music director known for his extensive work in both Hindi and Odia cinema. He gained significant recognition for his role as Trivedi in the acclaimed Netflix series "Sacred Games." Hailing from Chandabali, Odisha, Tripathy completed his graduation from Ravenshaw College and earned a master's degree in sociology from the University of Hyderabad in 1992. He further honed his craft by obtaining a Diploma in Acting from the National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi, in 1996. His career began in the Odia film industry with "Dhauli Express" in 2007, where he showcased his multifaceted talents as a producer, director, scriptwriter, and music director. Over the years, Tripathy has directed numerous plays and television shows while also appearing in notable films such as "Delhi 6," "Talvar," and "Indoo Ki Jawani." As of October 2023, he has taken on the role of Director at the National School of Drama, further solidifying his influence in Indian theater and cinema.
