Chitrangada Singh was born on August 30, 1976, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. She grew up in various cities, including Kota and Bareilly, due to her father's career as an Indian Army officer. Chitrangada completed her education at Sophia Girls' School in Meerut. She married golfer Jyoti Randhawa in 2001, and they have a son named Zorawar. However, the couple divorced in 2014. Chitrangada is known for her striking looks and has often been compared to the legendary actress Smita Patil. She is also a trained Kathak dancer and enjoys adventure sports like river rafting and skydiving.
