Chandrachur Singh

Chandrachur Singh was born on October 11, 1968, in New Delhi, India. He is an accomplished Indian actor known primarily for his work in Hindi cinema. Singh attended The Doon School and later graduated from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi. Before entering the film industry, he worked as a music teacher and history teacher at Vasant Valley School and The Doon School, respectively. His acting career began with the film "Tere Mere Sapne" in 1996, but he gained significant recognition for his role in "Maachis," which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Over the years, he starred in several notable films, including "Josh" and "Kya Kehna." However, his career faced challenges due to health issues stemming from shoulder injuries. After a hiatus, he made a successful return with the web series "Aarya" in 2020. Chandrachur Singh was previously married to Avantika Kumari in 1999 but is currently separated and has one child.
