Barun Sobti is an acclaimed Indian television and film actor, born on August 21, 1984, in Delhi, India. He completed his education at St. Mark's School in New Delhi and later attended the University of Delhi. Before entering the entertainment industry, Sobti worked for seven years as an operations manager at Jindal Telecom. He made his acting debut in 2009 with the Star Plus series "Shraddha," followed by a cameo in "Dill Mill Gayye." His breakthrough role came in 2010 when he portrayed Shravan Jaiswal in "Baat Hamari Pakki Hai." However, he gained immense popularity for his portrayal of Arnav Singh Raizada in the hit series "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?" which solidified his status as a leading actor in Indian television. Barun married Pashmeen Manchanda on December 12, 2010, and they welcomed a daughter named Sifat in 2019.
