Avinash Tiwary was born on August 15, 1985, in Gopalganj, Bihar, India. He grew up in a middle-class family and moved to Mumbai at the age of three. Tiwary completed his schooling in Mumbai and initially pursued engineering but left it midway to follow his passion for acting. He trained at Barry John's acting studio and later attended the New York Film Academy. Tiwary began his career in 2006 with the documentary "Anamika: Her Glorious Past" and made his television debut in 2014 with the series "Yudh," where he played Advocate Ajatshatru alongside Amitabh Bachchan. His film career took off with "Tu Hai Mera Sunday" in 2016, which was well-received at the BFI London Film Festival. He gained significant recognition for his role as Majnu in "Laila Majnu" (2018) and has since appeared in acclaimed projects like "Bulbbul" (2020) and the series "Khakee: The Bihar Chapter" (2022).
