Arunoday Singh was born on February 17, 1983, in Churhat, Madhya Pradesh, India. He comes from a politically influential family; his grandfather, Arjun Singh, served as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Arunoday was educated at Kodaikanal International School and later graduated from Brandeis University in the United States, majoring in English Literature. He pursued acting training at the New York Film Academy and the Acting Studio in New York. Arunoday married LeeAnn Elton on December 13, 2016, but they divorced in 2019. He has previously been linked to actress Aditi Rao Hydari and singer-actress Tara Sutaria.
