Apoorva Lakhia is an Indian film director born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He received his education at The Lawrence School, Sanawar. Pursuing his passion for filmmaking, Lakhia enrolled in a course at New York University but left to assist director Mira Nair on "The Perez Family." He further honed his skills by working as an assistant on American films such as "The Ice Storm," "A Perfect Murder," and "Addicted to Love."
