Anu Agrawal, born on January 11, 1969, in New Delhi, India, is a former Indian model and actress renowned for her impactful roles in Bollywood films. She was raised in New Delhi and excelled academically, earning a gold medal in sociology from Delhi University. Anu began her career in the entertainment industry with modeling and as a video jockey before making her film debut in the 1990 musical blockbuster "Aashiqui," which catapulted her to fame. Following her success, she starred in several notable films including "Khal-Naaikaa," "Thiruda Thiruda," and "The Cloud Door." In 1997, she embraced yoga at the Bihar School of Yoga, and her life took a dramatic turn when she survived a severe car accident in 1999 that left her in a coma for 29 days and resulted in memory loss. After this incident, she chose a spiritual path and became a monk in 2001. Anu currently resides in Mumbai and remains single. She is actively involved in mental health advocacy through the Anu Agrawal Foundation and is a motivational speaker.
