Ankur Bhatia

Ankur Bhatia, born on May 24, 1980, in Bhopal, India, is an accomplished Indian actor and model. He pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and initially worked as an actuary before transitioning to acting, a passion he held since childhood. Ankur made his acting debut in 2010 with the film "Grant St. Shaving Co.," produced by Mira Nair. His performance garnered attention, leading to a commendation at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Film Festival for his role in "Coconut Grove" in 2012. Ankur has portrayed diverse characters across various platforms, including notable roles in films like "Zanjeer" (2013), "Sarbjit" (2016), and "Haseena Parkar" (2017). He gained further recognition for his performance in the web series "Aarya" (2020), which was nominated for an International Emmy Award. Ankur is currently married to Pooja Bhatia.
