Angad Singh Bedi was born on February 6, 1983, in Delhi, India. He is the son of former Indian cricket captain Bishan Singh Bedi and has an elder sister, Neha Bedi, along with two older half-siblings from his father's previous marriage. Angad pursued cricket during his early years, playing at the Under-19 level for Delhi before transitioning to modeling and acting. He graduated from St. Stephen's College in Delhi and made his acting debut in the film "Kaya Taran" in 2004. Angad married actress Neha Dhupia on May 10, 2018, in a private ceremony at a Gurudwara. The couple has two children: a daughter born on November 18, 2018, and a son born on October 3, 2021.
