Anant Mahadevan

Anant Mahadevan was born on August 28, 1950, in Thrissur, Kerala, India. He is an accomplished Indian screenwriter, actor, and film director who has worked extensively in Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil cinema as well as television.

Anant Mahadevan, also known as Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, has been an integral part of the Indian entertainment industry since the 1980s. He has acted in numerous Hindi films, including Khiladi, Baazigar, and Dil Kya Kare, and has also directed several successful films such as Gour Hari Dastaan, The Xpose, and Aksar. In 2010, Mahadevan received the National Award for Best Screenplay and Dialogues for the Marathi film Mee Sindhutai Sapkal, which also earned him a special jury award at the National Film Awards. He has also been involved in professional English and Hindi theatre throughout his career.
