Amitoj Mann is an Indian actor, director, author, and screenwriter, well-known for his contributions to Punjabi and Hindi cinema. He was born on January 1, 1975, in Punjab, India. Amitoj is the son of Babu Singh Mann, a notable Punjabi lyricist and poet. He began his career in the film industry when he was signed by Dilip Kumar for the lead role in the shelved film "Kalinga," which was supposed to be Kumar's directorial debut alongside actress Meenakshi Seshadri. Despite this setback, Amitoj transitioned from acting to directing and writing.
