Aditya Srivastava, born on July 21, 1968, in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a prominent Indian actor known for his extensive work in Hindi films and television. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Senior Inspector Abhijeet in the iconic police procedural series C.I.D., which aired from 1998 to 2018. Aditya's journey into acting began during his college years at Allahabad University, where he participated in theatre productions. He moved to Delhi in 1989 to further pursue his passion for acting at the Sri Ram Centre for Performing Arts. His film debut came in 1994 with Shekhar Kapur's Bandit Queen, and he later transitioned to television, where he played various roles before landing his defining character in C.I.D. Aditya is married to Mansi Srivastava, a psychologist, since 2003. The couple has two daughters.
