Aditya Nimbalkar was born on April 5 in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Aditya Nimbalkar is an Indian filmmaker known for his work as a second unit director, assistant director, writer, and director in Bollywood films. He has collaborated extensively with director Vishal Bhardwaj on projects like Haider (2014) and Rangoon (2017). Nimbalkar made his directorial debut with the short film The Thief in 2017 and is set to direct his first feature film Sector 36 starring Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal. The crime thriller, inspired by true events, is slated for a 2024 release. Nimbalkar has also written the screenplay for the upcoming film Murder On The Deccan Express.
